Rebuilding Main Street After Covid-19: a study of six American cities
The downtowns of small and mid-sized American cities were making a comeback in the 2010s, but with the arrival of Covid 19, they have struggled to remain open, vibrant economic corridors. In a new study, Jeff Levine and Emma Gonzalez Roberts of Department of Urban Studies and Planning look at long-term strategies to get these crucial zones back to health once the peril of virus has receded. Levine and Roberts examine six post-industrial cities in the Northeast and the Upper Midwest and lay out a set or recommendations for their future.
