Boston in Transit. Steven Beaucher talks about his new book.

Steven Beaucher, the proprietor of WardMaps LLC on Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, talks to unPlanned about his new book Boston in Transit. This tome is a comprehensive look at everything transit in the city that gave this nation its first public transit — a ferry boat between Charlestown and Boston in the 1630s — and its first underground subway — a train running in a tunnel next to the Boston Common in 1897. Steven also talks maps, in part because he is a map collector, but also because you can’t really talk about public transit without talking about the need to map out its routes.
